Limited Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind the workmanship associated with covered WrapMyAuto vehicle wrap and restyling services. Covered installation workmanship is protected for one year from the date the original covered service is completed.
One-Year Workmanship Coverage
Covered installation workmanship is guaranteed for one year from the date the covered service is completed. If an issue arises within the one-year warranty period and is confirmed to have resulted directly from the workmanship of the original service, corrective workmanship will be addressed at no additional labor charge.
This warranty is exclusively for the original customer and original covered vehicle and is not transferable.
This warranty applies to workmanship only. Material or manufacturer warranties, if any, are separate and subject to the applicable manufacturer’s terms.
Vehicle Condition & Surface Preparation
Wrap, film, coating, tint, and protection results depend on the condition of the vehicle before work begins. Existing paint defects, clear-coat failure, rust, chips, scratches, dents, body filler, prior repairs, repainting, adhesive residue, contamination, ceramic coatings, waxes, sealants, and other surface conditions can affect adhesion, finish quality, removal, and durability.
Problems caused by pre-existing vehicle or surface conditions are not considered defective workmanship under this Limited Workmanship Warranty.
Customer-Supplied Materials
Customer-supplied vinyl, film, accessories, trim, emblems, or other materials are not covered by WrapMyAuto for material quality, color consistency, adhesive performance, compatibility, durability, or manufacturer defects.
The customer is responsible for confirming that supplied materials are correct, compatible, complete, undamaged, and suitable for the intended application. Additional preparation, removal, reinstallation, or replacement work caused by defective, incomplete, or incompatible customer-supplied materials may result in additional charges.
Covered workmanship associated with the original installation remains subject to the one-year workmanship warranty, provided the issue is caused by installation workmanship rather than the supplied material.
Trim, Components & Pre-Existing Fragility
Vehicle trim, clips, emblems, plastics, moldings, seals, fasteners, lights, badges, and other exterior components may become brittle, corroded, weakened, previously damaged, or difficult to remove because of age, heat, sun exposure, prior repairs, modifications, or normal wear.
Breakage or failure caused by a pre-existing condition, deterioration, corrosion, prior damage, aftermarket modification, or inherent component fragility is not considered defective workmanship.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage, lifting, peeling, staining, discoloration, scratches, chips, or other problems caused by:
- Accidents, collisions, vandalism, abuse, misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.
- Pressure washing too close to edges or seams, automatic car washes, harsh chemicals, solvents, abrasive compounds, improper cleaning, or improper maintenance.
- Extreme heat, environmental contamination, road debris, bird droppings, tree sap, fuel, chemicals, or other external exposure.
- Pre-existing paint or body defects, rust, clear-coat failure, repainting, body filler, poorly bonded paint, or hidden prior repairs.
- Alterations, removal, repairs, reinstallation, or work performed by another person or shop.
- Customer-supplied material defects or incompatibility.
- A new or unrelated condition that develops after the original service.
Defects During the Limited Workmanship Warranty
If you believe there is a workmanship-related issue within the one-year warranty period, report the concern promptly with the vehicle information, original service information, proof of service, and a description of the issue.
When requesting warranty review, please include the vehicle year, make and model, date of service, a description of the issue, and clear photos or videos when possible.
An inspection may be required to determine whether the concern is related to the workmanship of the original service. If the inspection confirms covered workmanship, corrective workmanship will be arranged at no additional labor charge. If the issue is caused by material failure, pre-existing vehicle condition, misuse, external damage, another provider’s work, or something outside the original service, additional charges may apply.
Work Performed by Someone Else
The original installation must be given a reasonable opportunity for review or inspection before the customer performs corrective work or authorizes another person or shop to remove, trim, heat, stretch, reapply, replace, repair, polish, coat, or otherwise alter the area related to the warranty concern.
The Limited Workmanship Warranty may be voided if another party alters the covered work before the review is completed or if recommendations intended to preserve the vehicle’s condition for inspection are disregarded.
Warranty Period
The workmanship warranty period is one year from the date the original covered service is completed. Corrective action performed under this warranty does not restart, renew, or extend the original one-year warranty period unless WrapMyAuto expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Refunds
Payments for completed labor, installed services, inspections, removals, preparation, and custom-ordered or installed materials are final except where otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
Warranty concerns should be handled through the inspection and corrective-work process. Refunds are not automatically provided because additional preparation becomes necessary, a customer changes color or finish preferences after approval, a customer-supplied material fails, a manufacturer defect occurs, another shop reaches a different conclusion, or the vehicle develops a new or unrelated condition.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
There is a zero-tolerance policy for threats, harassment, intimidation, abusive language, or behavior that creates an unsafe or hostile environment. Work may be stopped immediately if this occurs. Serious threats, violence, harassment, defamation, or unlawful conduct may result in law-enforcement involvement, termination of future services, and blocking of future requests or communications.
Professional and respectful communication is expected throughout all service and warranty interactions.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle and project information, disclosing known paint or body conditions, prior repairs, previous wraps or coatings, and following reasonable care and maintenance instructions after service.
Failure to follow care instructions or exposing the finished work to conditions specifically identified as harmful may affect warranty eligibility.
